This is a rock formation along the Catalina Highway that goes from northeast Tucson (Arizona) up to Mount Lemmon. It's situated right along the highway and is about 100 feet above the road at its tallest point. As this was taken from the opposite side of the road you can get a feel for just how precarious this looks when there in person.

This was taken from the Santa Catalina Mountains looking south towards Tucson's east side. The weather was pretty bizarre in the Tucson area on Tuesday (October 4th). I got a few minutes to watch this storm ramping up. It looked like a large dust storm reaching up to meet an equally large rainstorm coming down. To the northwest of Tucson there were several major dust storms, one large enough to cause a 50-vehicle pile up on the 10 Freeway.
