still life in the style of josef sudek

Josef Sudek is perhaps best known for his still life works (although this was far from all that he photographed). He used common things around the house and it is somewhat easy to mistake what he was doing as being rather simple. It's in trying to imitate him that one begins to appreciate how he was using the light (both reflected and refracted) and that what he was doing was anything but simple.
